“Birdhouse,” the new spot for Robinsons, provides a bird’s eye view into the charmed life of a certain feathered friend who, after a day out and about, returns home to his abode and the refreshment of Robinsons’ Be Natural.
Directed by Andy McLeod and edited by Andy McGraw for BBH, the commercial takes the mesmerizing approach of using a live trained bird in a miniature set rife with entertaining touches. A pigeon delivers news about a cat, a package of worms rests in the fridge and a human (cuckoo) clock announces the time. These are just some of the whimsical details that will inspire the desire to view the work again and again.
