My apology, Philip, for not mentioning your trailer in today's newsletter by Ron Lindeboom73322709
Your trailer was right up there as a finalist's finalist in a dead heat for the title of Best Trailer. It really is a great piece of work and it looks like a great production. And thank you for the kind words about the COW.
Thanks to all who took the time to comment/vote on the EGM trailer. Your supportive and constructive feedback is VERY much appreciated. Also, thanks to the Creative COW team for organizing this forum for people to post their projects. Keep up the great work!
best, Phil Johnson
Einstein's God Model: Not a model trailer by Rick Pearson73840358
I'm not particularly a fan of this trailer which is not to say that I wouldn't be a fan of the film itself. A film like this is bound to lean upon techno-babble and scientific exposition to further along the plot and how the plot is to be perceived as believable, but to give screen time to such devices in a promotional trailer versus providing potential audiences with a hook or reason to care strikes me as a potentially fatal marketing flaw. The film's interesting concept is further obscured by lighting paced cuts between ...insert shots of all things. This could have been formulated and designed much better.
I think everyone wants to know more about who we are and why were are here. This type of trailer lets the door open to the possibilities being discovered. Very compelling. Well done.
