I have been calling it eZball which is an interactive game that provides a unique environment which leverages the physics of kinetic and variable harmonic motion to enhance unique game-play interaction. The players physical position, ball striking force, angle and timing are all measured by integrated non-contact sensor technologies. This action filled, interactive game combines an elastic tethered lightweight ball, targets and a sensory head assembly that incorporates music, speech, and lights. It also has the ability to capture and report the player’s score and performance improvement. In addition, website interfaces provide features to compare various game specific scoring attributes with other players world-wide.
This was developed as an alternative to the slim selection of party rentals and entertainments available such as the bouncers for younger children that we all see in common venues on a regular basis. Interacting with a lightweight ball (beachball) is safe and allows any part of the body to be used in the game -This is an interactive party rental game which is truly unique and highly adaptable to a wide range of players size, reaction skill level or age. Even a person that is in a wheelchair and blind or deaf at the same time can play this interactive game and would see it quickly accepted as a standard event at the Special Olympics.
Granted USA utility patent #7,850,535 in '2010 and have built a prototype to refine the software/hardware sensor operations and develop more game styles. Now working on another video demo to show two players and with better realistic lighting and sounds so others can see how it all works together. I have eight basic games that are selected by software and provides something for everyone. Since the player can play any music they choose the game adapts it's interactive beat as well.

The eZball consists of a lightweight play ball that is tethered with an elastic band to an overhead mounted game assembly. The play ball has nothing additional mounted to it only the tether. The sensor head assembly includes a force sensor that determines the impact power that is imparted to the play ball, a spin sensor that determines the rotational value of the play ball, a travel path sensor that determines the path of travel of the play ball, and a play ball strike sensor that determines the strike to the play ball. The tethered ball also includes a target device and a lighted, player feedback system utilizing lights, music and spacial audio feedback, which is all controlled by the custom I/O controls system. [
