I am a computer animation student and would like to know were i can get good resources for learning this stuff. I am sure it is all about the eye, but technically what processes do you go through?
Great work

Thank you Louis. I agree that some of the job has to do with your creative eye, but, as with anything else, the more time you put into this craft, the better you will become. Since your sig says you have a camera, I would shoot as much as possible and try to color it.
Some of the basic things that I start off with is gaining more contrast out of an image. I find that stretching the dynamic range makes everything "pop" more. It clarifies what's already there. From there I will balance the color out to make sure a scene plays smoothly. After a scene is nicely balanced, I can create a "look" that supports the story that is being told.

Great job on some of those shots...I feel for you because a lot of them looked like major corrections vs. grading, those are never fun, looking good though
