Mr. Monster is a short I was inspired to do from seeing the old Fleischer Studios cartoons with Popeye and Betty Boop animated against a stop-motion film of a hand-made, clay diorama. He was originally going to be an eyeball with wiggly arms that ran down a hall screaming. Originally modeled in Maya 2011, then rigged and converted over to Cinema 4D. Detail work in Zbrush to get some clay-like definition. Composited in After Effects with some depth-of-field thrown in for fun. I consider this a 3D thesis.
