Filmed in ten hours during one day. Music video produced/directed/edited/written by Jason Honeycutt for Pop Evil which was originally an independent band at the time. After the video was released, it got them signed to Universal. It was done on a shoe string budget.
Two bands members each had a girlfriend who passed away and this song was written about their losses. I tried to find a story that would suit the meaning of the song while trying not to make it too depressing. I wanted a story that dealt with someone so in love that he doesn't really understand the reality of his world without his girlfriend.
This story follows him on the anniversary of the death, with a little twist at the end. [less
