I am currently a video and media Writer/Producer/Director working freelance for a number of clients such as AT&T, Avaya, Lucent Technologies, Sony, Warner-Lambert, Bristol-Myers Squibb, American Express, IBM, Ortho Pharmaceuticals, Association of Certified Public Accountants and Chubb & Son Insurance, as well as several production companies. I routinely handle print, new media, Web, videotape and multimedia production and writing for clients, from needs analysis and proposals, to writing and directing, supervising crews and facilities, overseeing editing, distribution and managing Web- and live broadcasts. I also have produced high-definition programming for Unity Motion, Inc. and have served as meeting producer for large-scale multi-continent corporate executive town halls, as well as smaller organizational gatherings and sales meetings in which I am responsible to orchestrate the efforts of staff and vendor personnel.
I have helped conceive, execute and write marketing communications presentations and collateral material for trade show exhibits and events for the drug, telecommunications, financial and other industries. For the educational market, I’ve also directed several sets of children’s videodisc textbooks for Optical Data’s “Windows on Math” and “Windows on Science” series.
I have been staff Video Project Director for the Burson-Marsteller Agency in New York -- the PR arm of Young & Rubicam Advertising. In that capacity, I developed VNRs and video projects used in press events, and as Young & Rubicam advertising strategy support. Besides researching and producing the tapes, I was responsible for orchestrating associated presentations. Clients included MasterCard, Owens-Corning, AT&T and Miles Pharmaceuticals.
As a Writer/Producer on the Public Relations staff at AT&T and Bell Labs, I also had the opportunity to write for internal and external publications, press releases, executive speeches, as well as produce tapes for many sales, marketing, training and technical units. Beyond the executive communications, sales, training, public relations and employee communications projects my clients ask me to do, they also turn to me for the development of interactive packages, and the creation of environments in which presentations are held.
As you can imagine, these skills meld nicely into a background offering creative leadership, media production know-how, ad agency creative experience, writing, as well as promotional and programming skills. I look forward to pursuing this with you!
