Into the pantheon of iconic brand characters walks Brock Roland - the fictional “Spokes-Patron” championing O’Charleys and its new “9.99er” menu (9 meals for $9.99 each). He may have that regular guy way about him, but Brock is the kind of discriminating diner who expects good food, done right. Jordan Brady of Superlounge directed the 5-spot campaign, created via Doner/MI.
In one spot, Brock complements his Cowboy Sirloin with “Another Order” for the 9.99er: Chicken Tenders, the only dining companion he needs. In “Gamble,” Brock shares that he will take a chance on love, but not on steak. Those commercials broke June 2, with “The Regular,” “Value Magic,” and “The Usual” rolling out soon in a campaign for which Brady directed the broadcast spots as well as components for the Web. [less
