I have been nervous about going back to school and learning how to edit and work with Final Cut Pro. It all seems so complex, and a bit overwhelming. However, the compelling urge that continues to accelerate my beating heart and drive me forward is powerful.
I have self taught myself thus far. Using a basic Windows Vista movie maker. My progress has been very slow, but steady non the less.
I would like to share with you just one of my challenges that I have encountered along my journey...
I originally created this video December 30, 2009. When I had completed the download to my computer, I was disappointed to see that my footage came out all blurry and hazy! I was certainly frustrated but not defeated. I was challenged...I love being challenged, because to me it presents yet another opportunity to take something negative and turn it into something positive! I started to explore the effects... I was amazed and Instantaneously Intrigued with the effects, that to me showed vividly my mental anguish along with the intense focus, dedication, determination, and sacrifices that I have made along my journey. I meticulously put together and chose this song to not only go along with my video, but to go along with my story...
The story and struggles of PAPA BEAR PART II:
I wanted to Include a paragraph from my story that I had written on January 28, 2009.
It entails of my story, depicting why the Muscle Tech II Transformation Challenge was so Important to me. How this was not just any old ordinary contest for me!
I pictured two American Flags flowing down in the back ground. I thought of two Flags... Muscle Tech II... my second contest, two Red, White, and Blues!
The one that appears on my right side is in honor, respect, and remembrance of my late father-in-law… the one on my left side, and that is closest to my heart… is in honor, respect, and remembrance of my late father! Two Highly respected Veterans! I just wanted everyone to know how much this contest and these pictures mean to me! They were not only just pictures for a contest! But a very heart felt, meaningful remembrance of two Men, that I sincerely looked up to, & will always miss dearly...
